Blender Screw
Details
The Blender Screw is a rotating auger used in slow juicers, cold-press extractors, puree systems, and related blending appliances. Torque from the drive shaft turns the auger, which draws produce downward, presses it against the filter, moves pulp toward the outlet, and maintains the working clearance between the auger, strainer, and bowl.

Key Advantages

● Load-Bearing Spiral Geometry

The flight profile, root thickness, pressing faces, and transition zones are molded to the approved 3D model. This geometry carries torque through the auger body when fibrous vegetables, nuts, or dense fruit are compressed and reduces localized stress at thin sections.

● Concentric Shaft And Drive Interface

Dedicated insert fixtures and inspection datums position the metal shaft or molded coupling relative to the auger axis. Controlled runout reduces wobble, uneven filter contact, and wear at the drive interface during start-stop, reverse, and high-torque operation.

● Material Stability In Food, Acid, And Cleaning Exposure

PEI/ULTEM, PARA, POM, or another specified resin is selected for the working temperature, torque, food-contact requirement, and cleaning method. The approved material must retain the defined profile and surface condition after repeated exposure to fruit acids and wash cycles.

Quality Control

● Resin And Insert Verification

Resin grade and lot, along with the shaft or drive insert, are verified before molding.

● Critical Geometry Inspection

Dedicated fixtures are used to check runout, flight dimensions, and coupling geometry.

● Load And Surface Check

Samples undergo torque or insert-retention checks, followed by inspection of the working surfaces.

FAQ

Q1: How is the MOQ calculated for a model-specific Blender Screw?

A1: The order basis is one standard container. The piece count is calculated from the auger dimensions and the protective packing needed for the flights and drive interface./p>

Q2: What are the payment terms for a custom auger project?

A2: The tooling fee is paid in advance, followed by the product deposit. For EXW or FOB orders, the balance is due after the container is loaded and sealed. For CIF orders, it is due before release of the bill of lading.

Q3: Can the same auger be used for hot blending?

A3: Only if the selected resin, shaft, bowl, filter, seals, and complete appliance are designed and validated for the target liquid temperature. A cold-press auger is not automatically suitable for hot food.

Q4: Is a Blender Screw a universal replacement part?

A4: No. The drive coupling, shaft length, flight profile, bowl clearance, and filter interface are model-specific. Any replacement auger must use authorized model data and be verified in the complete appliance.
