Key Advantages
● 3 ML Cartridge Alignment With 1-60 U Dosing
The standard configuration combines a 3 mL cartridge interface with a 1-60 U dose range. The holder, shoulder support and piston rod keep stopper contact centered throughout the cartridge travel during repeated dosing.
● Rewindable Piston For Cartridge Replacement
The piston returns to its loading position without disassembling the dose train. Positive retention and a defined end stop locate the replacement cartridge before priming and the first dose-setting cycle.
● 30 G Aluminum-Alloy Body
The published standard version uses an aluminum-alloy body and has a listed weight of 30 g. The rigid shell supports the dose window while keeping the dial and push button within reach during daily handling.

Customization Options
The dose train is developed around the supplied 3 mL cartridge and selected pen needle. Dose increment, maximum dose, scale movement and piston travel are calibrated together. Drawings and physical samples are used to confirm the holder, piston contact and front connection before tooling, so cartridge seating and needle attachment are settled early.
The body can use engineering plastic, aluminum or metal inserts to meet the required structure and weight. Surface texture, printing and clip design are selected to suit that construction rather than added as unrelated cosmetic options.
Customization Process
Reference Input
The 3 mL cartridge, pen-needle samples and dose requirement are approved together as the interface package for development.
Tolerance Stack Review
The full tolerance chain is reviewed for cartridge seating and piston contact so the container remains centered during dosing.
Mechanism And Tooling Build
The dose components, holder and housing are tooled as one device system, followed by functional prototype assembly.
Compatibility Verification
Prototype testing covers cartridge loading, priming, dose delivery and needle attachment with the selected physical components.
Pilot Manufacturing
A pilot lot checks molding stability, metal-plastic fit and the inspection method before production release.
Production Release
Approved drawings and the control plan govern batch manufacture, final inspection and packing.
Quality Control
Inspection covers the holder bore, shoulder location and piston concentricity because these dimensions keep the 3 mL cartridge and piston aligned. The needle interface is measured against the approved connection drawing. Repeated-use testing includes cartridge installation, piston rewind and dose delivery through the specified cycle; torque, button force or drop resistance is included only when required by the released plan. Completed pens are checked for cartridge retention, dose movement and finish before packing, and the results remain traceable by lot.
FAQ
Q1: What are the payment terms for custom-made products?
A1: Custom projects require the tooling fee and an order deposit before production. The balance is paid at the agreed release point under EXW, FOB or CIF terms.
Q2: Which shipping terms do you support?
A2: EXW, FOB and CIF terms are available. The shipping plan is confirmed with the destination and approved packaging configuration.
Q3: Does every 3 mL cartridge fit the same pen?
A3: No. Standard volume alone does not confirm compatibility. Cartridge body dimensions, shoulder geometry, stopper position, seal structure and device tolerances must be checked against actual drawings and samples.
Q4: How does a cartridge pen differ from a prefilled disposable pen?
A4: A cartridge pen keeps the reusable dose mechanism and accepts replacement cartridges. A prefilled disposable pen has a non-replaceable container and is discarded after the usable medication is exhausted.
